Downtown Parking Map

Due to heightened demand for short term parking, some 4-hour meters are being converted to 2-hour meters. Looking for all-day parking? Multiple downtown parking permits are available in select areas.

Digital Parking Meter Pre-Pay Option

Friday Night/Saturday Morning
Prepay on Friday evenings after enforcement hours for the following morning, or on Saturday mornings before enforcement hours begin. You can use a credit card, coins or the Parkmobile app. The payment will be applied once enforcement hours begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The free 20 minutes is not available when pre-paying prior to enforcement hours.

20 Minutes Free

Boise offers 20 minutes free per parking session on all metered parking spaces. To activate your free 20 minutes, simply press the button on the meter.

After pressing the free 20 minute button, you can pay for additional time (up to the maximum time posted for that meter).

Only one free 20 minute session is allowed. Pushing the button again is considered refeeding the meter, which is illegal.

Non-Metered Parking Enforcement

Unless otherwise posted, parking regulations are enforced at all times. This includes time restricted parking (like loading zones and 1 or 2-hour parking) and any hazardous violations. Please refer to the Idaho Drivers Manual and Boise City Code for more information.

Accessible Parking

There are 67 accessible on-street parking spaces available in downtown Boise. They are indicated by a sign and blue paint on the curb.
