  • What is an E-Permit?

E-Permit is an electronic parking permit that uses your vehicle’s license plate instead of a traditional hangtag or sticker. This makes it easy for drivers, so they do not have to worry about displaying a permit.

  • What if I have multiple vehicles and need to switch my E-Permit?

Permit holders may add up to 2 vehicles to an E-Permit (some restrictions may apply), but E-Permits are only valid for one vehicle at a time. Permit holders can manage their vehicles by logging into their account. Click Here to manage your parking account.

  • How do I sign up for an E-Permit?

ParkBOI E-permits are issued based on a lottery system (with the exception of the Twilight E-Permit program). The lottery is completed every 6 months to ensure equitable access to the on-street parking spaces. Click Here for the lottery entrance form. Applications received after the deadline for an upcoming lottery will be placed at the bottom of the waiting list as established in the most recent lottery.

  • What is the cost?

ParkBOI E-permits will cost $25/month ($15/month for Twilight E-Permits). If a permit holder fails to pay for their permit prior to the upcoming month, they will forfeit their permit for the remainder of the 6 month period. The permit will be offered to the next person on the waiting list as established on the day of the drawing.

  • Will I automatically be entered into the next lottery?

Yes, once you have requested to be in the lottery, you will continue to be entered into the lottery for subsequent drawings. If you choose to no longer be considered, please let us know and we will remove you from the list. Click Here to request to be removed.
